1. How much do GRE tests cost?

There are a few different GRE test fees, and the price varies depending on where you take it. Because of this variation in GRE test fees, you should check with your local testing center or with ETS to determine the GRE test fee that applies to you. Overall, however, the cost of the GRE subject tests is kept low to encourage people to take them. The GRE General Test is $205 in all countries except five: India, Turkey, China, Australia, and Nigeria. In India, the registration fee for the GRE test is $213.

2. What does the GRE test consist of?

The GRE consists of three sections: verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, and analytical writing assessment. The GRE was first introduced in 1948 and has been revised periodically to reflect changes in the test-taking population. Tests are administered at Prometric Centers throughout the United States and other countries around the world. In addition to providing an opportunity for applicants to demonstrate their abilities, the GRE also allows both graduate and business school programs to compare applicants from different backgrounds.

3. What GRE test scores are good?

A score of 300+ is treated as average, and a 292 score is considered below average. So, if you scored around 300 on the GRE, then you aren't in the bottom 10% of scores. If you remember that these score percentiles are based on students who took the exam in previous years. In other words, if more students take the GRE this year, it may be easier to get a higher score. Have more questions?
